Shareable: TEP Impact Stats - What We Did In 2022
Updated automatically every 5 minutes

2022 saw TEP move from a volunteer-driven organization to a staff of 10+ amazing folks, all of whom are making at least $15/hour. In January of 2023, we began offering health/dental/vision benefits for our full-time folks.

One of the most amazing things about our team is that everyone on staff is queer and/or trans, which means that we’re not only supporting our community through our programs and outreach, we’re living our values by intentionally hiring folks from within our community and giving them the space to learn the skills they need to be badass and successful in their chosen fields.

Allow us to give you a general update on the progress of our programs and projects, and break down some of what these folks have accomplished during their time with us.

InTRANSitions: (our direct aid program which provides food, clothing, toiletries, and other necessities to Trans* folks in need)

Trans Employment Project: (a program designed to work with job seekers and employers to ensure that Trans* folks are finding work that is affirming and inclusive) Manager: Mo Viviane (they/them)

Inmate Advocacy: (this program ensures that incarcerated Trans* folks have the support they need, and works with carceral facilities to teach their staff how to better support the Trans* folks in their care)

TEP Organizing Program: (our organizing team works to educate and mobilize our community and our allies, so that we can all be effective leaders in the movement for equity and justice)

Project Care: (a program designed to help Trans* folks find affirming healthcare and HRT, and to educate healthcare professionals on how to provide supportive and affirming care to folks in the Trans* community)

Take Back the Narrative: (a storytelling program that works to uplift and share the stories and experiences of Trans* folks and our allies, in order to create positive cultural change that reclaims the narrative of who Trans* people are)

Communications/Fundraising: (updates from our comms and fundraising team)

In the last 12 months, our Comms and Fundraising channels have seen the following growth:
